User Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from the Oplify platform at any time. This page explains what data we hold, what gets deleted, what may need to be retained for legal reasons, and how to submit your request.

Oplify is built on the official Meta WhatsApp Business API. Data transmitted through Meta's infrastructure may also be subject to Meta's own retention and deletion policies.

Quick Request

To request data deletion, email us at contact@oplify.in with the subject line Data Deletion Request and your registered email address or phone number. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Data We Hold

When you use the Oplify WhatsApp Business API platform, we may store the following categories of data associated with your account:

Account Information

Name, email address, phone number, company name, and GST number.

WhatsApp Business Data

WABA identifiers, registered phone numbers, message templates, and contact lists uploaded to the platform.

Message Data

WhatsApp messages sent and received through the platform, including content, timestamps, and delivery status.

Usage Data

Log data, IP addresses, and actions taken within the platform.

Billing Records

Subscription history and payment records. We do not store card or bank details.

How to Submit a Deletion Request

Follow these steps so we can verify your identity and process your deletion request securely.

Email us your request

Send an email to contact@oplify.in with the subject line Data Deletion Request.

Include your identity details

Provide your registered email address or WhatsApp number so we can locate your account. You may also include your company name.

We verify and process

We will verify your identity and confirm the deletion scope within 7 business days, then complete the deletion within 30 days of your request.

Confirmation sent

We will send you a confirmation email once your data has been deleted from our systems.

What Gets Deleted and What is Retained

Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data as follows:

Note: Data transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Business API infrastructure is subject to Meta's own data retention policies. Where required, we will initiate appropriate removal requests on your behalf.

Facebook / Meta Login Data

If you connected your Facebook or WhatsApp Business account to Oplify through Meta's Embedded Signup, you may also remove that connection directly through Meta.

  • Visit your Facebook App Settings and remove Oplify from connected apps.
  • To delete data Meta holds on behalf of Oplify, email us at contact@oplify.in and we will coordinate the removal with Meta where applicable.

Your Rights Under DPDPA 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a grievance with us if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully. We will respond to all valid requests within 30 days.
