By using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

Name, email address, phone number, company name, and GST number provided during registration.

WhatsApp Business Data

WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) identifiers, phone numbers registered to your WABA, message templates you create, and contact lists you upload to the Platform.

Message Data

Content of WhatsApp messages sent and received through the Platform, including sender phone number, message content, timestamps, and delivery status.

Usage Data

Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the Platform.

Billing Information

Subscription plan details and payment records. We do not store credit card or bank account numbers — payments are processed via third-party payment processors.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Oplify platform and its features.
  • Connect your WhatsApp Business Account to Meta's WhatsApp Business API on your behalf.
  • Send WhatsApp messages on your behalf as directed by you through the Platform.
  • Process subscription payments and issue GST-compliant invoices.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • Improve platform performance, reliability, and security.
  • Comply with applicable laws and Meta's platform policies.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. WhatsApp and Meta Integration

Oplify operates as a Tech Provider under Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. By using Oplify, you also agree to Meta's WhatsApp Business Terms of Service and Meta Platform Policy, available at:

We collect WhatsApp message data including sender phone number, message content, and timestamps to provide our platform services. This data is processed on your behalf as a data processor you remain the data controller for your customer data.

As a Tech Provider, Oplify holds admin access to your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) solely to provide the platform service. We do not use your WABA or your customers' data for any purpose other than providing the Oplify platform to you.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Meta Platforms Inc.: Message data is transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Business API infrastructure as required to deliver the service.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): The Platform is hosted on AWS infrastructure in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region. AWS processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
  • Payment Processors: Billing data is shared with our payment processor(s) solely to process subscription payments.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose data when required by applicable law, court order, or government authority.

We do not share your data with any other third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

5. Data Retention

  • Account and WABA data: Retained for the duration of your subscription and for 90 days after account closure, after which it is permanently deleted.
  • Message data: Retained for 90 days from the date of sending, after which it is automatically purged.
  • Billing records: Retained for 7 years as required under Indian tax law (GST Act).

You may request deletion of your data before the retention period ends by contacting us at contact@oplify.in.

6. Your Rights (DPDPA 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Grievance Redressal: Lodge a complaint with us regarding the processing of your personal data.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).

The Platform uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Platform functionality.
